On Saturday, Sept. 9th, we received 5+ inches of rain in just a few hours. We are currently working hard to fully assess and document the extensive damage sustained to our Trolley Trail, from Clarks Summit to Dalton. Next, we will be working with local contractors to provide immediate repairs to the most severely impacted parts of the Trail. We are also engaging local and state government to pursue longer term redesign and reconstruction funding to hopefully mitigate impacts from future rain events similar to what we saw on Sept. 9th.
Our goal is to get the Trolley Trail back open for as many people as possible as quickly as possible, while working to fully restore the Trolley Trail to its original condition.
